  The Webmaster should check that the images are created at no more than 72 dpi (dots per inch). Higher dpi will make the image file size much larger. Never resize your images in the html code. Use an image-editing program like Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks to physically resize your photos.

Website Maintenance Policy

 

1. We backup websites each quarter (or more frequently, depending on changes.) A CD ROM archive can be requested at any time during active service period.
2. "Maintenance" is defined as keeping the web site current. It is not intended to be a new design.
3. Updates are completed within 7 business days of the date received under most circumstances and workloads. During busiest times of the year, this may be an estimate, but every effort is made to stay within that guideline.
4. No extra fees are applied or billed if you are under one of our convenient service plans, unless otherwise discussed and noted.
5. Although we make every effort to make accurate changes, sometimes we miss a crossed "t" or dotted "i". We appreciate a final review to let us know if something was overlooked.
6. We reserve the right to distinguish between "updates" and "new design". New design work and other large projects may constitute additional billing at our standard hourly rate of $35 dollars an hour.
7. Updates should be provided electronically (by E-mail) as much as possible. Attachments should be in .txt or .doc (Word) format. Pictures need to be .jpg or .gif. Updates may also be sent by postal mail or by fax.
8. Being flexible and offering a flat-rate forces us to avoid the term "unlimited". Anything falling outside our service plan definitions must be approached with fair business and common sense in mind.
